Barbara is very friendly, but during my experience with her I found that she had spread herself too thin and did not put in the time she should have on my case. Actually I found out from my ex that he had never recieved any paper work from her and so I called and found out even though it had been signed by me 2 weeks before she hadn't got around to sending it. She got it off on the last of the 30 days I had to get it sent off and thats only because I called concerned. She is a very nice person and might even be a good lawyer if she would not take on so much. I had paid her in advance and when I told her I was switching lawyers she did give me a small refund. It wasn't a case of her not getting paid. So be careful when hireing her, make sure she has time for your case, also I found she liked to bring you into her office a lot and talk over the case, this wouldn't be so bad if it didnt cost you $120 a hour. I mean I would have found it a lot better to get the paper work from her, look it over in the waiting room and if I had problems with it let them know, not seat in her office looking it over for 30 min while she got paid for something I could do on my own time. So be a little careful here too. I found I had to lie about up coming appointments so I could go in earlier and read over the paper work in the waiting room and than go in a talk to her that way I would not be there for 2 hours.
